I bought the book because I was interested in the musical theme showed. I was majorly disappointed and did not finish. I won't be finishing even the first story in the collection. Here's why: much, much telling and no showing. We're treated to "she was upset" rather than having the point-of-view character assessing how he knew she was upset. We see the first story's main character bursting into tears and laughing a moment later, and the other main character doesn't even wonder why. The punctuation was either badly in error or haphazard, and sometimes lacking altogether. There were words out of place and dialogue tags and attributions were mishandled throughout. Though I was mildly interested in finishing the story, the lack of technique threw me out and it was a DNF all the way. I recommend a good editor and a re-upload.Product details

Though short stories aren't really my thing, Ms. Mossman does a great job with this little music-themed collection! The cover is gorgeous and eye-catching, and blends with the tone of the stories. Great little read!
